may i say, Cecily Von Ziegesar is an amazing novelist;
she has developed original and complex characters that don't bore the heck out of me, one character that intrigues me the most is the ever so witty miss. blair cornelia waldorf. as a main protagonist in the novels & since the launch of the hit television show 'Gossip Girl' went to air she has become one of the most publicized figure & most critically acclaim character in both novel and television. Thanks to miss leighton meester, she showed immerse initiative to execute her character precisely by reading the novels from start to finish & immerse in experimental lavish cocktail parties similar to her characters to gain perspective of the ''upper east side domain'.
Though little miss. blair's epitome is far from the way i shrive day to day, but i love to live my life vicariously through her. Her eclectic style, her drive as an over-achiever & not to mention her so called "flaws & complexities" that she believes she posses e.g. (jealously towards Serena at times, her love for Chuck & her hatred to all that deceive her) in which shaped her whole identity. But her sense of 'self' & ability to walk over people to fast track her every whim and executive so elegantly and gracefully is what really i love about her. Because i know i would not be able to ever do half the things she concocts.
